Hi Stofjas I can confirm that it works, I’m using it myself. I had the exact same problem.

greetzCool then we are soon one more in the momolight family If it has any interest I’m started to document my project on my website, I’m not finish yet, but I'm working on it. You can find my project under DIY ambilight on my websiteAnd the coolst thing! It works. I'm using Boblight software and for light source I use Superflux RGB led. Good luck with your projekt

Hey Boss, What kind of adaptor do you use ?? because i mailed to Rafke, he used a Belkin usb => RS232 converter and it didn’t work with MomoLight … so what kind do you use ?? Do you use the directshow filter, Boblight or alight ?? Do you have Vista ?? A lot of questions My setup works btw (on my desktop pc with a RS232 conector and only with leds, the power part isn’t finessed yet and my ccfl’s are ordered ) Thx Stofjas

Hi I'm using a DIGITUS And then i'm using Boblight software, because it's working super in my windows vista. BTW. There is now a new firmware version that also includes moodlight functionality. Once this HEX file is in the PIC you can put a little program (25 steps) in the PIC with your serial cable and after that your lights will follow that program even if your PC is not turned on. With the reset button (that no longer functions as a reset button) you can change between "mood" and "momo" mode. Best regards Michael

It appears that there is a failure of my hosting provider, they do not allow downloads of .hex files. I have konveteret to a RAR file, so now it should work. Best regards Michael

You are welcome, I also use RGB leds, but I have spent a little more! 30 pieces to the center and 18 pieces per side, they are installed on my 46" flat panel display, and looks great. The only drawback of the RGB leds, they are not as good at mixing colors, I have built them in diffuser pipes to get the desired effect. Best regards Michael

Hello. I'm using my lights with my 17" PC monitor. I have the same problem with diffusing light. What kind of pipes you were use. I'm wonder what will be good to mix colors and do not make the lights dark. Best Regards Korrus

I made the panels themselves, to mix colors, I have 2 different types of diffuser plates in front, the same type to use in a TFT panel to give a steady light on the entire screen, and it works very well, no lowering of brightness.
Best regards Michael
